To my audience - This song is a collaboration between me and my father playing his Hmong violin. This song is very personal to me and I've put in every effort to make it the very best. I truly hope that you all enjoy it as much as I do. Thank you for listening and don't forget to celebrate your Father this coming Father's day!

To my dear father - Today is not only to thank you and celebrate all that you've done for me, but everyone around you. You have sacrificed so much and lost so much of yourself over the decades, but even so, you never lost sight of me.

When my days are dark, it is the sound of your voice and laughter that makes my day brighter. It is your words of embrace that allows me to keep striving. Thank you for always holding my hand through the dark times and the good times.

I know I will never, in my life time, be able to repay you with the gratitude and appreciation you truly deserve but I hope you know that though distance separates us, you will always be a part of my life. I know words can never convey the emotions when written on paper, but it can certainly be reflected through the harmonizing of your melody and my harmony.

In honor of Father's Day, I dedicate this song to you, Father. As the years have passed, time has taught me that you've been the backbone to my life and for that, I am truly thankful and eternally grateful. Thank you for the collaboration, Father. It is truly beyond words.
